struggling with unhealthy coping mechanisms?

Supporting Both Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery

While our focus is mental health, we recognize how closely substance use and emotional pain are often linked. For clients struggling with unhealthy coping mechanisms, we offer:
● Psychoeducation on addiction and the brain
● Relapse prevention and recovery planning
● DBT & CBT-based skill-building to replace maladaptive behaviors
● Support for dual-diagnosis (co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders) ● Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services

Know this: You don’t have to wait until things get worse. Wellness isn’t about comparison, it’s about taking care of yourself because you’re worth it. You’ve carried a lot. You don’t have to carry it alone.
What is MAT?
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach to treating substance use disorders that combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies. MAT can help reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, stabilize brain chemistry, and support long-term recovery, especially for those recovering from opioid or alcohol use. At Hopewell, MAT is never a one-size-fits-all solution. Under the compassionate care of Kathrine Salvador, APRN, clients receive personalized MAT support as part of their larger care plan. Kathrine brings deep expertise in addiction medicine and a trauma-informed, judgment-free approach to every interaction, helping clients feel safe and empowered in their recovery journey.
