Meet Eleni

“We live better in seeking to become better.”

“The mind is everything; what you think - you can become.” - Socrates

Eleni graduated from Smith College with a degree in Education and Child Study. With more than 15 years experience working in educational, non-profit, state and federally funded positions, she transitioned to supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs. More recently, Eleni completed the MSW program at the University of Southern California. Her clinical community practicum focused on supporting the journey of college students and studying the impact of interpersonal violence. In her clinical work, Eleni espouses a holistic approach centered on healing in all aspects of a human being.

She utilizes evidence-based modalities like Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) specifically with a Problem Solving Emphasis, Relational Cultural Theory and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) while also utilizing somatic interventions that can resonate with individuals in the aftermath of experiencing trauma.

Eleni’s clinical approach to the therapeutic journey begins by developing a plan based on a holistic assessment of ones biopsychosocial and spiritual factors (BPSS Assessments) that impacts a person’s life. By understanding the physical, psychological, social and spiritual areas of ones life, the therapeutic dynamic can enhance the healing process in all areas of ones personal and professional life.

Eleni rejects the antiquated notion that a clinician has absolute expertise; rather, the therapeutic environment is a shared collaborative space where the therapist and the individual seeking support explore modalities and interventions that resonate with that individual's goals. Her therapeutic approach is trauma informed, strength-based and built on a foundation of cultural humility.

Outside of work, Eleni is a conservationist who enjoys outdoor recreational activities. She is a classically trained Byzantine Chanter. Her passion is documenting women’s experiences. She provides Spiritual Wellness Coaching and Workshops for women who share her Greek Orthodox heritage. She continues providing coaching and consulting to entrepreneurs, small business owners and others seeking coaching for wellness and optimal functioning.

Eleni offers:

- Individual counseling for adult women from college age into mature stages of life experiencing depression, trauma, and complex PTSD.
