Julia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University and continued her education by completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Driven by a passion for helping others discover their inner strength and resilience, Julia provides compassionate, client-centered care that empowers individuals to create lasting, positive change in their lives.

Julia works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults at Hopewell, offering both individual counseling and group therapy services. She is highly skilled in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Borderline Personality Disorder, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and behavioral challenges. Julia utilizes an integrative, strengths-based approach, combining evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to best meet the unique needs of each client. Known for her intuitive listening, warm demeanor, and collaborative style, Julia creates a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals.

Her therapeutic philosophy emphasizes the mind-body connection, helping clients develop practical skills to navigate life’s challenges while nurturing personal growth and self-empowerment. Julia is committed to tailoring each treatment journey to the individual, focusing on building resilience, enhancing coping strategies, and fostering meaningful, lasting wellness.

Outside of her professional work, Julia enjoys spending time in nature, exercising, practicing mindfulness, exploring new books, and cherishing time with family and friends.
