Kira is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who brings a unique blend of compassion, experience, and expertise to her therapeutic practice. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rhode Island College, along with a Master's degree in Non-Profit Administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport and a Bachelor's degree in Neuropsychobiology from Drew University.
Before transitioning to mental health care, Kira spent over 20 years in the veterinary field, working as both a technician and a hospital administrator. This extensive background in caring for vulnerable beings and supporting families through difficult times has deeply informed her empathetic, evidence-based approach to helping adults navigate their mental health journeys.
Kira specializes in individual and group therapy for adults facing mental health challenges, behavioral concerns, and trauma recovery.
