“Therapy is not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply, learning new tools, and creating meaningful change at your own pace”
Vicki is a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and life challenges, including anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, behavioral concerns, and major life transitions. Vicki’s experience working within community mental health settings contributes to the compassionate, empathetic, and strength-based approach she brings to her therapeutic work.
Vicki prides herself in creating a safe, inclusive space for clients who often feel unheard or unseen. Her goal is to empower clients by building on their existing strengths, resilience, and abilities to support meaningful and lasting change. She believes therapy works best when it is
collaborative, and ensures that her interactions are authentic, providing patients with guidance and support to equip them with tools that align with their needs and values.
If working with Vicki, your experience will be collaborative and goal-oriented. She tailors each session to the individual or family, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to process trauma, strengthen self-esteem, develop coping skills, and build healthier relationships.
Vicki believes that modeling balance and self-reflection is an important part of being an effective therapist. Outside of therapy, Vicki enjoys activities that support balance and wellness such as spending time with loved ones, engaging in self-care, staying active, and continuing my own personal and professional growth.
