Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A)
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” — Viktor E. Frankl
Noah is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling and a BA in Outdoor Leadership from Warren Wilson College. Noah is an experienced therapist who believes that healing starts through building a deeper connection with self, others, and the natural world. He brings a calming and warm presence that invites clients to explore their experiences in a non judgmental and open way.
Therapy with Noah is a collaboration that will empower you to make positive changes and gain a greater sense of meaning and control in your life. Noah practices Existential Therapy, and draws heavily from Eco Psychology, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means that you may explore themes like self-identity, empowerment, meaning making, shifting internal narratives and patterns, mindfulness skills, and nature connection as a source of healing and resiliency in your time together.
Noah is passionate about supporting people who are experiencing a challenging life transition, having difficulty managing a healthy balance in their work and life, or are struggling to regulate their emotions. Noah is experienced in supporting people through: addiction recovery, navigating life as a neurodiverse person, managing chronic pain or illness, and building a greater sense of connection to others and the world around you.
Noah welcomes adult and teen clients of all ethnicities, genders, orientations, ability, and religions. Noah is an ally to and welcomes clients who identify as LGBTQ+, BIPOC, or hold other minority identities.
