Hopewell Health Solutions’ Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides concierge, customized, comprehensive, structured treatment for several hours daily. It’s an ideal model for those needing more support than outpatient therapy, but not requiring inpatient hospitalization.
PHP lets you live at home while receiving intensive group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, skill-building, and experiential wellness — including yoga, art therapy, sound healing, weight training, hiking, Reiki, needlework, and meditation.

A comprehensive approach
PHP is beneficial for:
This goal-oriented program focuses on rapid stabilization, enhancing coping skills, and improving overall quality of life.
Specialized treatment & interventions
Hopewell Health Solutions’ PHP offers 6 structured hours of treatment daily, 5–6 days a week. Through evidence-based modalities, individualized plans, and specialized interventions, our PHP stabilizes symptoms of substance use and co-occurring disorders — while promoting successful community reintegration and long-term recovery. A unique feature: a customizable approach that lets you build a tailored schedule for the group component of PHP.
Clinician-led sessions offer fresh perspectives, reduce isolation, and help you learn from others in early recovery. Modules include DBT, CBT, mindfulness & grounding, motivational interviewing, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation. You choose the groups aligned with the goals you set with your clinician.
One-on-one sessions with a licensed clinician assess your needs and address challenges in real time, working toward short- and long-term goals. They also include peer recovery coaching — in person and by text — and on-call, non-emergency clinical support by phone, text, or in person whenever you need it.
Our clinicians, psychiatric providers, and experiential therapists collaborate on a plan built around your values, goals, and needs — teaching practical skills in distress tolerance, emotion regulation, communication, and relapse prevention that you can carry into everyday life.
Expressive, integrative practices — art, movement, mindfulness, and creative expression — engage the whole person: mind, body, and emotions. These groups encourage self-discovery, stress relief, and the kind of healing that words alone can’t always reach.
The structure is the medicine
Monday–Friday · held at our Glastonbury location, with offices in West Hartford, East Hampton & Westbrook.
Find the right starting point
The difference comes down to intensity. Many clients step down from PHP into our Adult IOP as they stabilize — Hopewell Health Solutions helps you find the right level.
About six hours a day, 5–6 days a week — the highest level of outpatient care. Best for stabilizing after a crisis or stepping down from inpatient.
About three hours a day, four days a week — lighter structure so you can keep working, studying, or caring for family.

Support tailored to you
Everything in one place
Joint family therapy sessions help rebuild communication, strengthen relationships, and restore trust and healing within the family system.
Our providers closely evaluate your needs, monitor progress, and adjust medications to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Evidence-based medications reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms to support recovery from opioid and alcohol dependence.
Comprehensive mental health evaluations and medication management help identify and treat co-occurring conditions.
Peer-to-peer groups connect you with others on a similar journey — a supportive space to share challenges, celebrate progress, and stay encouraged.
Experiential therapies help you explore emotions and process trauma in non-verbal, embodied ways — through movement, creative expression, and connection with therapy animals.
Family sessions and psychoeducation foster understanding and support at home — because healing often means rebuilding relationships.
