Therapy, education & relapse prevention

How the program works

A structured schedule integrates therapy, education, and relapse-prevention strategies for long-term recovery. Each week blends:

  • Individual therapy — Address personal challenges and triggers one-on-one.
  • Group therapy — Build a support network and foster accountability.
  • CBT & DBT — Develop coping strategies and emotional-regulation skills.
  • Relapse-prevention education — Real tools for sustaining long-term sobriety.
  • Life-skills training — Improve stress management, communication, and goal-setting.

Most participants attend 3–5 times a week, a few hours per session, generally for 6–8 weeks.

Find the right level of care

Is the Addiction IOP right for you?

IOP is ideal if you’re ready to commit to recovery but don’t need 24/7 supervision. It’s especially helpful if you’re:

Transitioning from inpatient rehab and needing continued support
Recovering from a relapse and needing structured treatment
Needing intensive therapy while maintaining work or family responsibilities
Ready to build coping skills and a strong support system for lasting sobriety

If you’re experiencing severe withdrawal, need medical detox, or require round-the-clock supervision, an inpatient or residential program may fit better. Our specialists conduct a thorough assessment to recommend the most appropriate level of care.
