Evidence-based help for struggling kids & families

Since COVID-19, we’ve seen exponential levels of anxiety, depression, self-harm, school refusal, and maladaptive behaviors in adolescents — leaving families stuck and frustrated and kids very vulnerable. Hopewell’s Teen/Tween IOP was created so parents and children can receive evidence-based treatment for lifelong mental health and recovery.

The program runs Monday–Thursday at our 1420 Main St, Glastonbury location, for 8–12 weeks. Parents attend once to twice a week to learn the DBT skills being taught — so the skills integrate at home, where they matter most.

Setting the standard for IOP care

An experienced team that works as one

Our clinicians and medical staff are fully licensed and deeply experienced — a full medical team and a full therapeutic team working together to create customized strategies that drive real, positive change for each child and family. Each IOP staff member has 10–30 years of experience working with adolescents, and the program is licensed by the state of Connecticut.

We work with all adolescents, ages 8–18, struggling with self-injury, school refusal, suicidal ideation, and significant mood and anxiety disorders. We are fully inclusive and welcome all genders and the LGBTQA+ community — because every child is unique, every treatment plan is, too.
